FAQ
When introducing behavior-focused nutrition counseling to your patients, highlight that this approach goes beyond diets and meal plans—it’s about understanding their relationship with food and making lasting change. Explain that they will work with their registered dietitian to identify triggers, set personalized goals, and build healthier habits. Reassure them that your support will be there every step of the way, helping them achieve their wellness goals collaboratively.
When considering a referral to an Everlong dietitian, look for signs and symptoms such as persistent struggles with weight management, emotional eating, or unhealthy relationships with food. Other indicators include disordered eating behaviors, significant fluctuations in weight, or medical conditions requiring specialized nutrition support like diabetes or digestive disorders. If your patient expresses a desire for personalized nutrition guidance or struggles with mental health issues affecting their eating habits, these are also key signs that a referral may be beneficial.
Once you refer your patient to Everlong, they will be contacted within 24 hours to schedule their first session.
After we receive their referral, your patient can get scheduled as soon as the next day. We strive to provide prompt service to ensure they receive the support they need without delay.
