FAQ
Yes, we accept private pay as well as HSA and FSA payments for our services. If we do not accept your insurance or if you don’t have insurance, you can still utilize these payment options for your nutrition counseling sessions.
Medical records provide our dietitians with helpful information about your medical history. They also help ensure that we can get the claims covered by insurance.
We continuously strive to expand the range of insurances accepted at Everlong. If there’s a particular insurance provider you’d like us to consider adding, please feel free to contact our support team at support@geteverlong.com.
We require each patient to keep a credit card on file, primarily to enforce our no-show and late-cancellation policy. You will not be charged the no-show or late-cancellation fee unless you either fail to attend your session or cancel it within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
Everlong’s services are 100% covered by insurance for 95% of patients. In rare instances, copays and deductibles may apply, but we strive to keep any out-of-pocket costs to a minimum. Our team is dedicated to helping you navigate your insurance benefits for the best possible coverage.
Yes, we accept Medicare. However, Medicare will only cover nutrition therapy if you have a diagnosis of diabetes or chronic kidney disease. Unfortunately, any other conditions, including prediabetes, are not covered by Medicare. Some supplemental plans may provide additional coverage, so we recommend checking with your provider to see if you have extended benefits.
The number of covered sessions depends on your specific insurance plan. While most of our patients have no limits on visits and can attend as many sessions as they need per year, some plans may impose restrictions. To get detailed information about your coverage, call the member services number on the back of your card and ask about your benefits for Medical Nutrition Therapy.
Yes, we can send your chart notes to your doctor or any other healthcare provider you designate. Please email our support team at support@geteverlong.com with the details, and we’ll ensure they receive the information promptly.
